Sectarians and Arab ultra nationalist continue their campaign of misleading the public and yelling about the proposals to create the federal state of the middle and the south.
The media office of Adnan Al-Dulaimi ,leader of the Accord Front issued announcement” There is no reason to create federal state of the south other than sectarian”
Al-Dulaimi added” Accord Front cannot accept the federal state of the south as this will allow a foreign
country, which has historical expansion demands in Iraq (referring to Iran),to control it “
He added “ we oppose this principle because it will result to divide Iraq”
With regards to the subject of changes and modifications to the constitution, Dr Adnan Al-Dulaimi said there are many political blocks want to modify the constitution and we are in the front of them.
We are against what is written in the constitution about the federalism, distribution of powers and the control of central government over the provinces.
Yesterday, Hussein AL-Faloogi announced that the Sunni Accord Front will move to start dialogue with the United National Coalition to withdraw the federal status from the Kurds and give guaranties for alternative option than federalism as he mentioned. It is unlikely that United National Coalition will talk with the Accord about Iraqi federal Kurdistan.
All political blocks against the federal law cannot change it even if they all voted together because both the United National Coalition and the Kurdistani Coalition fully supporting the federal system law.
