Al Saadri current (movement) lives a real and deep crisis as a result of the latest decisions taken by Sayed Muktada al-Saadir which include discharging main leaders of the Jaysh al-Mahdi and remove any backing to them. Some of these leaders have heavy presence and popularity like Hassan Salim and Abo Dirrih who became famous since the foundation of Jaysh al-Mahdi.
Many analysts believe that this case is not similar like previous ones in removing some political and social leaders from al-Sayid al-Sadir office as the military leaders have connections with many groups who are well financed by the latest operation conducted by them. Many analysts follow the movement fear a rebellion and disobedience from those leader to Sayid Muktada’s orders. The disobedient have already started to surface by the announcement of some of these leaders who they say they are following Sayid Muhammad al-Sadir exactly like Muktada himself, who still follows the same Marjih which means he has no authority on us and this could cause assassinations within members of this movement.
The sources connected between this subject and the corporative stand taken by some of the movement leaders in Ummarah City with the truth finding team sent by Sayid Muktada following the crisis between the movement and security forces in Maysaan province following the assassination of criminal intelligence police leader in the city. The team even wasn’t met by the movement leaders who were involved in the fighting and even given some harsh words and insults from some members.
